We are invited to live a life rooted in faith, trusting God’s promises in every area and allowing Him to shape us into the likeness of Jesus. This life of faith grows as we release our fears, depend on His presence, and embrace a deeper relationship with Him.
REVIEW: How Are You Praying?
- READ: Psalm 62:5-8 "Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge."
- DISCUSS: What are you pursuing through prayer, and how is it deepening your faith?
REVIEW: Who Are You Becoming?
- READ: Romans 12:2 "Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
- DISCUSS: What steps can you take to remain sensitive to God’s transforming work in your life, and how does community support this transformation?
REVIEW: Leaning into Faith
- READ: Hebrews 11:6 "And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him."
- DISCUSS: In what ways do your prayers reflect a reliance on God’s promises rather than your own plans, and how does this reveal your growing faith?
ASK:
What else did you get from this week's sermon? What actions or next steps can you take to apply it to your life?
PRAY:
Father, we come to You with open hearts, asking You to increase our faith and deepen our trust in Your promises. Help us to release our worries to You, knowing that You provide all we need and that Your plans are for our good. Transform us, Lord, into people who reflect Jesus more each day, as we seek to live lives of faith and surrender. Amen.
