Jesus doesn’t just want to fix our circumstances—He wants to transform our hearts. Real healing begins with a question: Do you want to be well?

REVIEW: What Keeps Us Stuck - Isolation
- READ: Matthew 12:46–50 (NLT): As Jesus was speaking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. Someone told Jesus, “Your mother and your brothers are outside, and they want to speak to you.” Jesus asked, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!”
- DISCUSS: How does community impact your spiritual growth? Why do we often try to go it alone?
REVIEW: Procrastination
- READ: 1 Corinthians 9:24–27 (NLT): Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
- DISCUSS: What are you waiting for that’s keeping you from obedience today? How can you start moving now?
REVIEW: Scarcity Mentality
- READ: John 4:27-30, 39 "The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 'Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?' So the people came streaming from the village to see him... Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman had said, 'He told me everything I ever did!'"
- DISCUSS: Where in your life have you believed the lie of scarcity? How does God’s abundance free us from comparison and jealousy?
ASK:
What else did you get from this week's sermon? What actions or next steps can you take to apply it to your life?
PRAY:Father, we confess that we often choose what’s familiar over what’s healing. We’ve grown used to the brokenness around and inside us. But You came to bring us life. Give us the courage to stand up, pick up our story, and follow You. Heal our hearts and free us from the mindsets that keep us stuck. Help us trust in Your abundance, power, and grace. We want to be well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
INVITATION TO RESPOND:
This week, reflect on Jesus’ question: Do you want to be well?
Here are practical steps you can take:
- Read Scripture daily. Let it convict, renew, and re-center you.
- Pray consistently. Talk to God—and make space to listen.
- Embrace community. Don’t do life alone.
- Fast occasionally. Let go of lesser things to pursue Jesus more fully.
- Let go of lies. Stop believing that God can’t or won’t use you.
