Our identity is often tempted to be rooted in what we do, what others think, or what we have, but true satisfaction and rest are found only in Christ. By bringing our desires to Jesus and trusting in His Word, we can overcome these temptations and live securely in God’s love and provision.

  ASK:

What else did you get from this week's sermon? What actions or next steps can you take to apply it to your life?

  PRAY:

Heavenly Father, we confess the ways we’ve sought to find our identity in what we do, what others think, or what we have, and we ask for Your forgiveness and guidance. Teach us to rest in Your love, trust in Your Word, and find our satisfaction in You alone. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to overcome temptation and live in a way that reflects Your grace and glory. Amen.

INVITATION TO RESPOND

This week, let’s take a step toward bringing our desires and longings to Jesus. As a group, commit to a time of intentional reflection and prayer each day, asking God to reveal areas where you’ve sought identity in what you do, what others think, or what you have. Share with the group one way you can actively trust God to meet your deepest needs and how you will practice resting in His love and provision.

Let’s encourage and pray for one another as we pursue true satisfaction in Christ.
