- READ: Ephesians 6:12 “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”
- DISCUSS: What environments, topics, or relationships tend to tempt you into battling people instead of blessing them?
- DISCUSS: Do you have a plan or routine for engaging in spiritual warfare? If so, what is it? If not, how could your group help?
REVIEW: Live differently.
- READ: 1 Peter 1:15 “But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.”
- DISCUSS: Do you think your schedule and habits are noticeably different than those you know who aren’t following Jesus? If so, how did you develop those habits? If not, what are some ways you can begin to form new habits?
REVIEW: Work as a family.
- READ: Galatians 6:2-3 “Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.”
- DISCUSS: Are you involved in serving or leading within our church community in some way? If not, what are ways you might be able to get involved?
- DISCUSS: Is there anything your group can help you with over the next few weeks?
