Jesus is always working to help us grow.

- READ: Romans 2:4 “Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?”
- DISCUSS: How have you experienced Jesus lifting you up when you were in a spiritually challenging or empty time?
REVIEW: When our growth slows, Jesus prunes us.
- READ: John 15:2 “He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.”
- DISCUSS: How has God used trials or discipline in your life to keep you healthy and fruitful?
REVIEW: As we mature, Jesus pulls us close.
- READ: John 15:10 “When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.”
- DISCUSS: How has your relationship with Jesus changed as you have committed yourself to following him? What is different now from when you first began believing?
