"Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, but happy is one who keeps the Law."
Proverbs 29:18 NASB
When we live without vision, it's easy to become aimless, distracted, or complacent. When we live without a mission, we can find ourselves uncertain or unclear about our growth and progress through life. But when we live with vision and mission, it is much easier for us to make better decisions, stay focused on what's important, and accomplish all that God puts in our hearts to do!
Spend a day or two asking God to begin giving you a fresh vision for your life. Then, write down some characteristics that you feel he wants to develop in your life over the next few years, so you can share them with your group at the next meeting.
Take some time this week to identify some things you should stop doing, and at least one thing you can start doing, in order to move toward God's vision for your life.
Spend some time this week inviting God to speak to you about how he wants to work through you in each area of your life (such as your family, work, school, neighborhood, etc.). Write down anything specific that comes to mind, and then find a way to keep it somewhere you can reference regularly.

"Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God."
